American Civil War Roundtable of Australia - NSW Chapter
Newsletters:

Our Newsletter Sumter to Appomattoxis sent to members every two months beginning in January of each year.  A major purpose of this Newsletter is to advise details of our regular meeting, which will be held the following month.  To this end the Newsletters have a common format which includes:

·         A message from our Chairman;

·         Details of the forthcoming meeting including the subject of the presentation, speaker, venue, timings etc;

·         A “What Happened in the Month” listing of Civil War events;

·         Book and other media reviews;

·         Short articles relating to a range of Civil War matters that are considered to be of interest to members; and

·         A “Famous Last Words” series of quotes relating to the American Civil War.

In addition, where there has been a request for information on a Civil War or related topic, a Supplement to the Newsletter is produced for members.  Such a supplement would include, also, the year’s Program of Activities for the Chapter.
